Brain Cramp

so…it would appear i puttered out on the photo posting pretty quick. My excuses are as follows:

* i can only do it from ryan’s user on the “main” computer (i usually use the laptop in the kitchen) b/c i need aperture (a photo program), and i need his as mine never got updated and is no longer connected to his.

um…I think that’s my only excuse..an incredibly lame one now that i see it in writing. I do have at LEAST 2 mini-posts floating around in my mind right now with pictures that are currently on the camera….and then there’s “the new bread” post. I know you’re all waiting with baited breath for that (oh, btw, the sprouted wheat chocolate chip cookies turned out great). In fact, i could be upstairs doing it right now if it weren’t for the fact that i’m lazy and don’t want to go upstairs. Maybe tomorrow. I don’t think i have any kitchen adventures during naptime tomorrow, so perhaps i’ll shelve reading yet again & do some blogging. But if not, at least know that i think of you. :)

We had a great anniversary date & I am so grateful to have sweet friends w/2 kids the same age as our that live 10-20 paces from our front door that watched the kids for us. :) My kids are grateful too. In fact, they came over for dinner tonight & while the adults didn’t necessarily get to delve deeply into conversation, it was a great time & fun to get to know each other a little more. I love having people over for dinner. I do miss having a separate “sitting room” (so the kids can have at it in another room), but regardless, it was lots of fun.

See, this post should’ve had a pic of the 4 kids & their mayhem tonight. However, I’m not entirely sure where the camera even is right now. As it is, this was rather rambly & pointless. Tomorrow night we’re babysitting the pell boys so maybe i’ll have the presence of mind to break out the camera.

  1. We had a great time too! We’ll have to have you guys over soon so we can delve deeper. Both Luke and Jack have been playing the ukelele (sp?) all morning. See you guys tonight!!

  2. Hey! Glad to hear ya’ll are doing well. This is actually the first time I have been on your website. Welcome to the west, though you are farther west than we are. We are waiting for the snow to hit. It sounds like you get more rain. Anyway, just wanted to say hello.
