My sister recently went on a mission trip to Zambia. Upon her return she sent out an email that shared some of her experiences on the trip. I was both encouraged and convicted when I read the following:
God taught me so much and continues to do so every day. Most importantly, is that Jesus did not die on the cross just so that I would be saved from my sin, but so that I would share the gospel with all nations. From my husband and children, to my first grade boys small group and to the ends of the earth. The gospel is not meant for self-consumption but for global multiplication. I do not know what God has planned for me, but I do know that my family will be joining me on my next trip to Guatemala in December. What a blessing it is to serve our King and to share the good news of His story with the nations. May God bless each one of you and stir in your heart a desire to share the gospel with everyone around you.
Serving Him, Amy
What are big sisters for if not to tell you what to do… Unlike when I was younger, I think I’ll listen to her this time.
Thanks Amy. I think we all needed that.
