First, the weather… Every day part of my morning routine involved checking the weather online. Today I looked at the 10 day forecast and noticed that, starting Tuesday, it will be in the lower to mid 80′s! PERFECT! I love the lower to mid 80′s. Honestly, I’m probably more of an upper 70′s kind of guy, but I’ll take what I can get after this long hot summer.
Second, my vision… After wearing glasses for 6 1/2 years I have returned to contacts. It has been a pretty easy transition back into contacts. The funniest thing is when I go to wash my face I instinctively reach to take off my glasses… but they aren’t there. I laugh every time. Also, I bought my first pair of sunglasses in 7 years. It is so nice to be able to put them on while driving. However, Mr. Cowles says “they are too sporty… and lenses that I can see through freak me out.”
Finally, seminary… We are still plugging along the path. I made some good headway this weekend as I checked some things off the list like contacting a state farm agent in Orlando, emailing the financial aid person at RTS, and here is the kicker… It appears that we might even have a place to live down there. The details are still in the initial stages, so it is far from a done deal, but we might actually be able to rent a 3 bedroom house that is literally right around the corner from my brother and sister-in-law’s house. The level of amazing-ness that this presents is off the charts!
